Listings of regimental and company officers and company assignments, 1864-1865.

Volume contains four sections: (1) a listing of regimental and company officers for the 147th-156th Infantry Regiments which notes each officers's name, rank, appointment date and manner, regimental headquarter location, company organization dates, and counties from which units organized; (2) a listing of new companies that were assigned to old regiments provides new company's officers' names and ranks, company organization place and date, assignment date to old regiment, and old regiment name; (3) a listing for the 147th-154th Infantry Regiments which gives each officer's name and rank, rendezvous point, regiment organizational and departure for field dates, date transferred to Lieutenant Colonel Oakes (147th -150th, 152d and 153d only), and destination (i.e., Nashville); and (4) draft call records provide draft dates in Illinois' thirteen congressional districts under the July 18 and December 19, 1864 calls.
